Position Overview:

The Sr. Manager Carrier Enablement will be responsible for working within thier team of dedicated employees and partnering with other team members to manage the mobile vendor soluitions and processes, integrate new mobile vendors as necessary, understand the contractual agreements with these vendors and ensure billing is completed on a timely basis. The Sr. Manager Carrier enablement will provide support for all Mobile Business platform Carrier related services. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding the overall mobility service, how to manage, support and initiate changes.  

What You Will Do:

  • Provide consultation and act as the Mobility Carrier subject matter expert in projectbased efforts
  • Provide oversight and direction to the Mobility Carriers and vendors.  
  • Participate in vendor meetings to ensure vendor is delivering services timely and aware of product issues.  
  • Participate in team meetings across the organization to ensure the product and services are meeting expectations.  
  • Participate in troubleshooting, drive gaps and issues to resolution.
  • Independently undertake projects of a complex nature and ad-hoc requests as required.
  • Architects improvement opportunities spanning service delivery, user experience, security, etc. 
  • Participate in 24/7 on call rotation 
  • Collaborate with all necessary functional areas 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
  • Must have a minimum of 7 years’ experience vendor management

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience using a TEM system and using a vendor portal
  • Expert level hands on experience with Mobile contracts.
  • Preparing and delivering written and verbal reports and general communications to audiences of varying levels of seniority and technical ability. 
  • Collaborating and coordinating activities with stakeholders and infrastructure teams to understand business needs. 
  • Strong analytical skills; able to assess and solve issues in a high-pressure environment 
  • Interest in and ability to learn and master new technologies 
  • Willing and able to participate in 24/7 on-call rotation  
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate ideas and lead through influence to accomplish challenging goals & objectives.
  • Excellent understanding of document control, update processes and tools.
  • Must work well under pressure and have the flexibility to manage multiple demands.
  • Self-starter and independent thinker who is capable of finding and developing solutions.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
