About the Role:
CrowdStrike's IT organization is seeking a dedicated Senior IT & Cyber Operations Analyst to support annual planning and operational budget management across our global technology infrastructure. This role will be essential in managing day-to-day IT and Cyber budgets while partnering closely with Finance to optimize processes and drive operational efficiency. The position combines financial expertise with technical understanding to ensure effective resource allocation and process improvement.
What You'll Do:
Manage annual planning cycles for IT and Cybersecurity budgets
Develop and maintain detailed budget tracking and forecasting models
Partner with Finance teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting
Identify and implement process improvements for budget management
Monitor and report on technology spending patterns and trends
Support vendor contract management and cost analysis
Assist in developing IT chargeback/showback models
Create regular visuals and presentations for leadership
Collaborate with technical teams to understand resource requirements
Support cost optimization initiatives
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field
8+ years of experience in Technology Finance or IT Budget Management
Strong understanding of IT cost structures and budgeting processes
Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling
Experience with cloud service provider billing (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Experience with budget management tools and systems
Understanding of IT service delivery models
Bonus Points:
Experience in technology or cybersecurity industry
Knowledge of IT financial management tools
Experience with process automation
Background in vendor management
Proficiency with business intelligence tools
