The Opportunity

This position works out of our Santa Clara, CA location in the AVD division. Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for the treatment of vascular disease.

We currently have an opportunity available for a Sr. Global Manager, Brand and Multi-Channel Marketing to join our Global Strategic Marketing, Coronary Franchise Team in Vascular division, based in Santa Clara, CA.  This is a fully onsite role to support our comprehensive coronary PCI portfolio in a dynamic, high performing team.

What You’ll Work On

Be the marketing communication lead as part of coronary franchise team and build and execute marketing communication strategies and supporting processes consistent with product and business objectives.  Responsible for developing, managing, and implementing all branding and communication projects in the areas of advertising and promotion, including digital and mobile communications.   Manage multiple project-based marketing activities at any given time and owner of channel plans/integrated marketing communication plans. Act as a brand champion and ensure brand compliance for coronary franchise and products.  Partner with marketing communications and digital center of excellence teams.

  • Brand management: Act as global brand champion and implement corporate, divisional and product brand guidelines. Oversee A&P from a global perspective in their respective areas.

  • Communication Strategies: Recommend and execute communication and promotional objectives and strategies while tracking success/KPIs. Creates Integrated Marketing Communication Plans as well as Channel and Launch Plans

  • Partner with cross-functional teams such as upstream marketing, regulatory affairs, clinical, R&D, and legal to plan and execute on strategies and tactical plans based on input from both internal and external stakeholders. Manage multiple projects with varying timelines and ensure their timely execution

  • Promotional implementation and management of clinical data communication: Drive and develop promotional plans by managing, planning and implementing communication projects (including clinical data) in collaboration with product marketing teams.

  • Digital Strategy: Partner with digital team to strategize on websites, apps, social media, and other online activities

  • Agency and Vendor Management: Provide direction to agencies and vendors by facilitating communication to achieve collaboration and consensus, as well as complete promotional projects.

  • Manage contingent workers as well as potential direct reports

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree Related field OR or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • Masters Degree -In Business Administration or in a related field is highly desired.

  • Minimum 8 years Business experience where development and deployment of marketing plans including digital strategies and plans were central to the success in the roles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Medical device experience is preferred.

  • Experience with advertising and promotional materials in a highly regulated environment is preferred.

The base pay for this position is

$128,000.00 – $256,000.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
