Micron Technology, Inc., a global leader in memory and storage solutions, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Engineer to join our Chemical team within the Global Facilities Engineering department.

In this crucial role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality Engineering services and support for the planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of our subject area specific Facilities systems across our Semiconductor Manufacturing sites worldwide for Chemical systems and Slurry systems!

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Technical Field Domain Expert, providing consultation and support to global Site Facilities and Manufacturing teams.

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Technology Development, Procurement, Finance, and Legal to develop and maintain global standards, specifications, and best known methods (BKMs).

  • Support large-scale Facilities Infrastructure Expansion projects by reviewing design packages, ensuring compliance with standards, and providing engineering expertise during construction.

  • Drive standardization and alignment across Micron’s global sites in engineering design, construction execution, reliability programs, and operations practices.

  • Champion global initiatives including sustainability programs, benchmarking industry standards, and finding opportunities for system design improvements and cost savings.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Process, or Industrial Systems Engineering.

  • 7–10 years of experience in the semiconductor or facilities-related industry.

  • Strong technical knowledge of chemical systems including blending, slurry, hazardous and high-purity chemical distribution.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently with strong prioritization and scheduling skills.

  • Fluent in English with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with semiconductor manufacturing and facilities systems.

  • Demonstrated leadership in global program management and sustainability initiatives.

  • Proficiency in reviewing and guiding scope, schedule, and cost estimates for infrastructure projects.

  • Self-motivated with a focus on efficient task management and a dedication to outstanding service.

  • Willingness to travel internationally 25–40% on average, and up to 50–66% during critical project phases.
