Summary:
The Sr. Financial Analyst will impact firm-wide strategy, have visibility to top Finance leadership, and gain a top-down view to learn the inner workings of entity-wide financials at the highest level. This role is suited for someone who enjoys building long-lasting solutions and implementing efficiencies that will boost the productivity of other Finance teams. The Sr Financial Analyst will be joining a close-knit team of experienced Finance professionals who cross-train each other in their areas of expertise in a growth driven environment.
Responsibilities:
System Administration:
Serve as a system administrator for Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), executing consolidations, running rules and utilities, and owning system maintenance
Collaborate with a dedicated IT team to improve system performance and functionality
Forecast Consolidation:
Consolidate financial forecasts across business units, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP
Conduct scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis, and complete multi-company eliminations and validations
Reporting:
Develop and maintain comprehensive financial reporting packages for executive leadership and key stakeholders
Conduct variance analysis and work with Finance teams to explain deviations from business unit forecasts
Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to streamline routines and enhance reporting and efficiency through automation and best practices
Business Partnering:
Collaborate with Enterprise Finance teams to provide financial guidance and support distribution of centralized targets
Support product pricing, FTP, capital allocation, and investment decisions
Drive accountability through financial insights and LOB performance reviews
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
5 years of experience in FP&A, financial systems, or related roles with a strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
Hands-on experience with Oracle EPM (Planning, Hyperion Essbase, Smart View) strongly preferred
Ability to drive enterprise-level financial analysis and reporting through expert use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, enabling scalable insights and executive-ready deliverables
Drive accountability through financial insights and LOB performance reviews
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
