Senior Financial Analyst

As an experienced Plant Finance Sr. Analyst, you will offer exceptional strategic and operational financial leadership at our Ibaraki, Japan site. This position presents an outstanding opportunity to engage with innovative individuals and generate a significant impact!

A Day in the Life

  • Deliver strategic and operational financial oversight to the Ibaraki, Japan Plant team and Plant Director
  • Lead plant financial scorecard management, continuous improvement initiatives, inventory/production analysis, and other financial decisions
  • Coordinate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual processes, including month-end close and costing activities
  • Collaborate with business segments and Global Supply Chain to support investment financial return analysis
  • Analyze plant spend and identify efficiency improvement opportunities
  • Measure and assess plant performance regularly to drive corrective actions
  • Develop understanding of financial impacts from sales volume, mix, and supply planning dynamics
  • Monitor external economic factors to support plant management decisions
  • Standardize reporting processes and ensure compliance to Global Financial Standards and Statutory requirements

Candidate Qualification

Must

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred in Finance or Business Administration)
  • 6+ years of experience in finance organizations
  • 3+ years of finance experience within Manufacturing (Experience with supply chain finance is essential.)

​Preferred

  • CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification
  • Experience managing Income Statement
  • SAP knowledge in Manufacturing
  • Proven leadership and partnership skills
  • Ability to lead through others and influence
  • Driven to deliver results quickly, agilely and with high quality
  • Travel: Up to 5% (domestic/international)
