Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. This role is critical to supporting strategic decision-making through financial modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), strong business acumen, and a collaborative mindset.

This role will focus on financial oversight of key projects, ensuring accurate reporting, forecasting, and performance tracking. The ideal candidate will have strong FP&A experience, a deep understanding of project accounting, and the ability to communicate financial insights to cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Improve financial visibility across strategic projects.

Support project managers with timely and accurate reporting.

Enhance forecasting and cost control for initiatives with significant budget impact. Strengthen compliance and audit readiness for project-related expenditures.

Partner with VP of Finance and cross-functional teams to develop forecasts, budgets, and profitability analyses.

Analyze financial trends, variances, and KPIs to identify risks and opportunities.

Build and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives.

Prepare and consolidate quarterly reporting packages.

Ensure data integrity and automation in financial reporting systems.

Improve financial visibility across strategic projects.

Support project managers with timely and accurate reporting.

Enhance forecasting and cost control for initiatives with significant budget impact.

Strengthen compliance and audit readiness for project-related expenditure and overspends.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically six or more years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, with at least 2 years in project reporting or project finance.

  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.

  • MBA, CPA, or CFA certification [not required]

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $119,765.00 - $140,900.00
