Location: Rajpura Factory, Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) Department: Engineering / Maintenance Reporting to: Factory Engineering Manager
Electrical Systems Management
Oversee maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems, panels, and distribution networks
Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory regulations (CEA, IE Rules)
Instrumentation & Automation
Maintain and calibrate field instruments (flow meters, pressure sensors, temperature transmitters)
Support PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems for process control and automation
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
Develop and execute maintenance schedules for electrical and instrumentation assets
Analyze breakdown trends and implement corrective actions
Project Execution
Support capex projects related to electrical and instrumentation upgrades
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for timely execution
Energy Management
Monitor energy consumption and identify opportunities for efficiency improvement
Support sustainability initiatives in line with HUL’s environmental goals
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain records of calibration, maintenance, and statutory inspections
Ensure audit readiness for internal and external assessments
Education: Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering
Experience: 5–8 years in FMCG, pharma, or process industries
Skills:
Strong knowledge of electrical safety and instrumentation standards
Hands-on experience with PLC/DCS systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.)
Familiarity with TPM, SAP PM, and ISO standards
Good communication and team coordination abilities
