Sr. Associate I, Software Engineering

Summary of Position:

We are seeking a Senior Developer with around 4 years of experience in full-stack web development to lead and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of our web-based applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that support our mission to improve lives through innovative eye care. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and contribute to the development of web-based applications, including both front-end and back-end components. 

• Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable software solutions. 

• Design and implement software architecture and core components. 

• Develop responsive user interfaces using modern frameworks such as ReactJS, Angular, or VueJS. 

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js, Express.js, or SpringBoot. 

• Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and documentation. 

• Collaborate with DevOps teams for deployment and monitoring. 

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. 

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, proposing improvements to enhance performance and scalability. 

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 

• 4+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development. 

• Proficiency in JavaScript (Primary), TypeScript , and frameworks like React, Angular (Primary), or Vue.js. 

• Experience with Node.js or Express.js (Good to have), and/or SpringBoot for backend development. 

• Familiarity with IAM platforms and protocols such as SAML, OpenID Connect, and OAuth 2.0. 

• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB). 

• Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms. 

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

• Effective communication and collaboration abilities. 

Preferred Skills 

• Knowledge of accessibility and performance optimization. 

• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. 

Work hours: 12 PM to 9 PM IST
