What Warehouse Operations Group Leader contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Accountabilities

  • Coordinate activities of the warehouse.
  • Execution of receipt daily activities.
  • Load of merchandise.
  • Apply and ensure compliance with EHS regulations and procedures.
  • Support OpEx programs.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Experience in a related field is preferred.
  • ERP system knowledge is preferred.
  • Knowledge on heavy equipment is preferred.
  • Knowledge in Lean Six Sigma (5S) is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and follow up skills are required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office is required.
  • Must have good written communication skills.
  • Must lift weight up to 75 pounds
  • Horario: Lunes a Viernes 3:00pm a 11:30pm

  • Works with limited supervision. Work occasionally involves review of output by work lead or supervisor
  • May provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members
