TEAM OVERVIEW

The Delivery Execution and Modernization team within TDS Data, Delivery and Integration (DDI) is responsible for leading the design and implementation of key strategic initiatives to support delivery excellence across TD Securities. Our team plays a critical role in bridging strategy and execution by equipping delivery teams with the framework, processes and tools needed to deliver high impact change reliably and efficiently.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Delivery Lead with 7+ years of end-to-end delivery expertise to drive complex, cross-functional programs across data, technology, and business domains. They will report directly to the Director – Process Improvement, Delivery Execution and Modernization and will be a key contributor to shaping the future of how we deliver change at TDS.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned delivery professional who has led multi-stakeholder programs, understands products and data flows, and excels at problem-solving and decision-making to unblock teams. You will be responsible for translating strategic objectives into actionable delivery, creating executive-level reporting, and ensuring disciplined execution under fast-paced and often ambiguous conditions.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • End-to-End Delivery Management: Lead delivery of high-impact initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring milestones are achieved on time, within scope, and within budget for process related and technology related end to end deliverables.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with the product team, technology leaders, compliance, and business stakeholders to align priorities, clarify dependencies, and resolve conflicts.
  • Problem Solving & Escalation: Anticipate risks, identify blockers early, and take decisive action to resolve. Escalate at the right time with clear options and recommendations.
  • Status Reporting: Develop polished decks, executive dashboards, and concise status updates that highlight progress, risks, and decision points.
  • Expectation & Change Management: Manage stakeholder expectations, balance competing priorities, and adapt delivery approaches under compressed timelines.
  • Documentation and Artifacts: Maintain organized documentation in Confluence, Jira, or equivalent collaboration environment.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, designations, or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in program/project management or delivery leadership, ideally within financial services or technology-driven transformations.
  • Experience in Capital Markets or within the Banking Industry is preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering large, complex programs end-to-end.
  • Strong knowledge of capital markets products, data flows, and technology platforms.
  • Proven ability to problem-solve, make decisions, and escalate effectively in high-stakes environments.
  • Skilled in executive-level communication and crafting transparent, decision-ready reporting.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage expectations.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, regulated, and high-pressure environments.
  • Familiarity with regulatory programs, data integration, or surveillance/remediation initiatives is highly valued.
  • Experience using JIRA and Confluence for tracking tasks and managing documents.
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio)

The Senior Analyst Project Delivery - TDS will support the end-to-end delivery of the project's deliverables involving high complexity and many cross-functional and stakeholder dependencies.

Depth & Scope:

  • Supports the Change Delivery Leadership/Management in managing a diverse range of stakeholders to meet program requirements and project objectives.  Major stakeholders include:
    • Trading Business Management (TBM), Market Risk and Model Development (PnL, Risk, VaR), Market Risk Control, Operations/Data Services, Front Office, Technology and Compliance
  • Provides leadership to technology and business partners to turn requirements into delivery with analyses and recommendations for solutions that meet business objectives with in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Provides timely updates on project status, analysis and findings to senior management and various stakeholders
  • Conducts ongoing oversight and review to ensure effective implementation of Change Delivery initiatives and risk reporting infrastructure through requirement building and stream planning
  • Provides support to management by leading stakeholder management activities and communication through stream deliverables
  • Provides direction and support to active stream deliverables through engagement with strategic partners
  • Provides broad range of admin support and coordination on project related activities/tasks for a project
  • Prepares project dashboards for various project meetings and Committees
  • Provides support in project financials, including monthly review of project charges, variance analysis, updating program forecasts into Enterprise project tool and other tasks that may require analysis and reporting at project/program level
  • Understands and manages cross-stream interdependencies
  • Assists the Program Delivery Lead with tracking project tasks, dependencies, and requirement gaps (ensuring traction and resolution on all items)
  • Identifies and escalates issues to the appropriate individual(s)/group(s) to ensure prompt attention/resolution
  • Ensures all infrastructure build activities are supported by adequate documentation

Education & Experience:

  • University degree required
  • 5 + years of relevant experience
  • PMI or PMP certification an asset
  • CFA or FRM designation an asset
  • Familiarity with market risk, valuation, and/or operational concepts obtained through previous experience in a capital markets function
  • Intermediates to high level understanding of financial products and models
  • Advanced in Excel data manipulation skills (ability to derive findings/conclusions from large datasets and trouble-shoot errors)
  • Superior organizational skills (must be able to identify and track project dependencies & blockers, ensure proper resolution of outstanding items, document meeting minutes and takeaways in a clear and concise manner)
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly  and obtain clarifications as necessary when discussing requirements

  • Knowledge of IR Curves is considered a significant asset for the position
  • Prior experience in organizational change management activities preferred
  • Prior experience with delivering major regulatory programs and/or infrastructure implementations
