SPIR (Social Policies and Industrial Relations) Specialist - Labour Relations Airbus Spain

Job Description:

Reporting to the Head of Social Policies & Industrial Relations Spain, you will give support to all Divisions of Airbus Group in Spain (Helicopters, Defense and Space and Commercial Aircrafts) and your main tasks will be: 

  • Contribute to defining social policies, processes and tools in alignment with Business, HR strategy and Airbus Vision by involving all the stakeholders in the area of responsibility whilst ensuring constructive and peaceful industrial relations in a national and local level.
  • Support in preparing for labor court cases.
  • Ensure the design and implementation of HR policies and negotiation with the unions/works council in all HR areas such as Employment, Competence Management, Learning, Compensation & Benefits, Culture Change, Talent...:

- Negotiations with employees’ representatives and work councils for all related topics.

- Deliver consistent implementation of HR processes and tools.

- Define SPIR process performance and propose improvement actions.

- Act as a legal consultant for HR Expertise Centers and HRBPs in terms of social policies, labor aspects and processes.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Labor Relations degree or related area.
  • More than 10 years of experience in Labor Relations in Spain.
  • Previous experience in complex labor environments and in a multinational company will be highly valuable.
  • English and Spanish must be at a negotiation level.
  • Advanced level of French and/or German would be appreciated.
  • Advanced negotiation skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • ​Resilience and ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel.
