The Spa & Wellness Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Spa, Fitness Center & Retail ensuring exceptional guest experiences and adherence to the highest standards of service. This role involves managing staff, maintaining facilities, and implementing wellness programs that align with the brand's commitment to luxury and well-being.
What You Will Do
Operational Management:
Supervise daily operations of the spa, retail and fitness facilities, ensuring a seamless and luxurious experience for guests.
Maintain the cleanliness, functionality, and ambiance of all areas, coordinating with housekeeping and engineering teams as necessary.
Implement and monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, including emergency response procedures.
Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and manage a team of spa, retail and fitness professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development.
Develop and implement training programs to ensure staff are knowledgeable about the latest wellness trends and techniques.
Guest Experience Enhancement:
Design and oversee wellness programs and services that meet the diverse needs of guests, ensuring a personalized and memorable experience.
Address guest feedback promptly and effectively, implementing improvements as needed to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Stay informed about industry trends to introduce innovative services and products that enhance the guest experience.
Financial Management:
Assist in developing and managing the annual budget for the spa, retail and fitness department, monitoring expenses and revenues to achieve financial targets.
Oversee inventory management, ensuring the availability of necessary supplies while controlling costs.
Analyse financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase profitability.
Marketing and Promotion:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies that attract and retain guests.
Organize events and partnerships that enhance the visibility and reputation of the spa and fitness offerings.
Utilize digital platforms to engage with potential and existing guests, promoting services and special offers.
What You Bring
A passion for the health and wellness industry, with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English; additional languages are an asset.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks in a dynamic environment.
Proven leadership skills, with experience in motivating and developing a diverse team.
Innovative thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive approach to challenges.
Familiarity with spa and fitness software systems, enhancing operational efficiency.
2-4 years of management experience in a luxury spa or wellness setting.
A degree in hospitality management, wellness, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
