Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute manual and automated test cases for the automotive assistant across infotainment, navigation, climate control, and vehicle settings.
  • Validate voice recognition, intent detection, and response accuracy under varying acoustic and environmental conditions.
  • Collaborate with developers, UX designers, and system engineers to define test strategies, test coverage, and quality benchmarks.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive standards such as ASPICE.
  • Analyze logs, trace data, and assistant behaviour to identify bugs, performance bottlenecks, and user experience issues.
  • Support customer joint test sessions, field trials, and OTA update validation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Fluency in both German(Native) and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software QA, preferably in automotive or embedded systems.
  • Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Robot Framework, Selenium, Appium)
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and safety-critical environment.
  • Good to have familiarity with voice assistant platforms, natural language processing, and AI model testing.
