We’re hiring an Electrical/Electronics Engineer to design and develop our automotive products in the areas of Active Safety and User-Experience. This position is located in TCI.

YOUR ROLE

Performs System and Software quality assurance activities to provide independent assurance and appropriate visibility to project teams and to management that work products meet defined quality objectives, and that project team activities conform to the defined common processes and to approved project plans.

  • Drive quality and compliance throughout the software development process
  • Support the creation of project Quality Assurance Plans which include all necessary gate reviews to be conducted, all work products to be audited, all processes to be assessed, and defines the quality goals, KPIs and metrics for the project.
  • Perform and approve the Aptiv Product Development Process (PDP) gate reviews with teams & leadership
  • Perform process assessments and work product audits
  • Perform capability assessments (Automotive SPICE) on projects
  • Document and track to closure non-conformances
  • Ensure that quality findings/actions are resolved before delivery
  • Check and approve software deliveries or stops software deliveries
  • Coordinate and track quality assurance activities with project team plans
  • Report SQA activities to SQA management
  • Escalate project quality problems to SQA management
  • Interface to customers regarding reporting of Systems, Software, and Independent Test & Verification relevant quality topics, audit planning, tracking of actions
  • Ensure that the Problem Solving Process for software related field issues are correctly performed by engineering teams

Your Background tial

  • Experience working in Automotive industry
  • Preferably Intacs certified ASPICE Provisional Assessor
  • #Exp 4-8years’ experience working on Engineering development teams as a Systems Engineer or Software Engineer
  • Working experience on Configuration Management and Project Management Tools
  • Familiar with development process capability maturity models (Automotive SPICE, CMMI)irable
  • Desired to have IATF 16949 / ISO 9001
  • Automotive SPICE,  IS0 15504
  • Functional Safety ISO26262, Agile, Lean, Six Sigma
