Job Summary:

Reporting to the Director, IT, you will be responsible for leading professionals in Software Development.
The ideal candidate will be an energetic, results-oriented manager who is flexible, fun, and creative. The successful candidate will balance hands-on development work with leadership responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a leader in the Software Development organization to both influence and facilitate the completion of development goals for all releases.
Provide leadership and execute the efficient, predictable, well-communicated movement of software through environments from development to production.
Lead, motivate, and engage team members to cultivate a culture of excellence
Write SOLID code using test-driven development methodologies
Involvement in all phases of software development, from requirements definition to production releases.
Gain a deep working knowledge of all products, systems, and business drivers.
Balance the need to minimize risk to release schedule, cost, and benefit with the need to accommodate changing customer needs.
Participate in off-hour production releases.
Design, code, configure, unit test, and deploy applications that meet technical and business specifications
Execute development tasks in accordance with project timelines
Develop strong relationships with internal customers by engaging them in Agile development projects
Ensure technical debt is kept low by maintaining a clean, quality code base
Participate in requirements definition sessions with analysts, end-users, and management
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
5+ years of IT experience with a strong background in multiple technical disciplines, including development, project management, quality assurance, release management, and architecture.
2+ years of leadership experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of Software Engineering practices.
Excellent knowledge and proven, multi-year experience in an Agile/Lean development environment.

Salary Range:
$127,480.00 - $203,970.00*This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included.
