Iron Mountain is seeking a technically skilled Configuration & Development Engineer to join our Digital & GPT team.
In this role, you will be responsible for configuring enterprise applications and developing robust SQL-based solutions (queries, stored procedures, and reports) to support and optimize critical business processes.
In this role, you will:
Configure and Customize: Translate business requirements into technical solutions by configuring and customizing enterprise IT systems.
Develop Data Solutions: Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and reports for business users, ensuring efficiency and performance.
Collaborate and Document: Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, and develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all configurations, customizations, and reports.
Support and Optimize: Provide end-user support and training on configured solutions, troubleshoot and resolve application configuration issues, and support integration between applications and databases to ensure data consistency.
Ensure Governance: Adhere to IT governance, coding standards, and best practices throughout the configuration and development lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have:
2–5 years of experience in configuration and development roles within IT organizations.
Strong proficiency in SQL development (including queries, stored procedures, views, and functions).
Proven ability in problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Good understanding of relational databases (such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL).
Experience with enterprise business systems configuration and familiarity with application configuration, customization, and system administration.
