Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain modern, scalable, and high-performance web applications using JavaScript, TailwindCSS, HTML5, CSS3, and Shadow DOM, while ensuring responsiveness, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
Create reusable, modular frontend components that promote consistency and scalability across applications.
When required, design and build frontend libraries or frameworks from scratch, demonstrating strong architectural and engineering capabilities.
Maintain and enhance React-based legacy systems while gradually migrating toward Web Components in JavaScript (LitJS).
Integrate frontend applications with GraphQL and RESTful APIs to support scalable data flow.
Discuss and elaborate on functional and non-functional requirements with Product Management, Architecture, and QA to ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness.
Participate in code reviews to uphold quality and consistency across frontend and backend modules.
Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance applications leveraging a cloud-based distributed architecture.
Utilize WebSockets for real-time communication within modern frontend experiences.
Communicate risks, blockers, and progress effectively within the Scrum team.
Support delivered features by debugging and performing root cause analysis (RCA) for production issues.
Adhere to TraceLink’s software development life cycle and participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to ensure our platform remains cutting-edge.
Required Skills and Qualifications
2–5 years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on frontend engineering for enterprise-scale products.
Deep understanding of JavaScript, OOP principles, Web Components, Shadow DOM.
Hands-on experience with TailwindCSS, HTML5, CSS3.
Understanding of React and component-based architecture to support legacy systems, as needed.
Good to know about Web Components and LitJS Library.
Solid understanding of GraphQL, RESTful APIs, and WebSockets for real-time data interaction.
Solid understanding of Micro Frontend architecture and metadata-driven UI systems, enabling dynamic configuration and runtime composability.
Experience working with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and CI/CD pipelines.
Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and infrastructure as code principles.
Strong grasp of Data Structures & Algorithms, and System Design fundamentals.
Demonstrated experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently.
