The Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with expertise in .NET/C# to join our Agile team. The ideal candidate will work on the planning, design, development, and support of web-based financial management applications. This role requires collaboration with business analysts, designers, and subject matter experts to produce detailed specifications and develop high-quality software code. The developer will also be responsible for system improvements, LOE estimates, training materials, and adherence to configuration change control standards.
Responsibilities:
Participate on an Agile team in the planning, design, development, and support of .NET/C# based web financial management applications.
Deliver development efforts that result in well organized and structured deliverables aimed at being easy to understand by others on the development team.
Articulate ideas and communicate verbally and in writing task status, unit test results, technical concepts, issues, and questions with the team.
Develop LOE estimates for software developments or enhancements.
Provide input into training manuals for users.
Develop and maintain knowledge of back-office systems, including technical changes in the application(s).
Responsible for researching, designing, developing and/or modifying software systems (e.g., custom, COTS, GOTS).
Develop front-end and back-end console applications.
Develop complex batch jobs to move data between back-office systems.
Conduct impact analysis for software changes.
Conduct unit tests and document findings.
Support formal testing in controlled environment before code is promoted to production.
Adhere to program configuration change control standards.
Present ideas for system improvements.
Qualifications:
Required:
Must be a US Citizen
University degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years of related work experience
Must be proficient in both front-end web development and back-end console application development using .NET/C#
Must be proficient in Oracle PL/SQL or SQL Server T-SQL
Experience building and using Web Service APIs
Technical knowledge of .NET programming, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience
Ability to learn new functional areas quickly
Ability to debug/trace code and resolve issues quickly
Desired:
Experience with iPaaS software like Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar technologies.
Experience with MS Blazor.
Experience developing in an Agile environment.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, source control (Git), and work item tracking.
Experience with Deltek Costpoint or similar back-office systems (i.e., Accounting, Contracts, HR, etc.) for a Government Contractor.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$67,800 - $142,200
