Hours: This is a Full-Time position.




Art Director/Copywriter Responsibilities:

  • Generate clear ideas and produce concepts and executions with focus on digital & social media.
  • Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning, and target audience
  • Ensure creative concepts deliver against the approved creative brief.
  • Develop and manage creative executions, including design and production across all platforms, incorporating consumer insights into the creative process and ensuring messaging consistency across all vehicles.
  • Take work from concept to final execution ensuring deliverables are on time and on budget.
  • Present completed ideas to clients/team members & participate in status calls as needed
  • QA all creative assets to ensure quality & error-free
  • Manage the development of A/B testing of messages
  • Stay on top of all trends and maintain best practices, particularly digital & social media
  • Ensure designs and content reflect consistently and positively the brand image and company ideals
  • Collaboration across different departments including Strategy, Data, Accounts & Production
  • Handle large-scale requests along with single lines of copy.
  • Use data-driven insights to help personalize content across the entire customer journey—from awareness campaigns to e-commerce copy.
  • Contribute to improving our workflows, best practices and client relationships across brands.
  • Working as part of a regional group of Monks on local and international assignments, you’ll operate across teams and time zones on projects.

 

Qualifications for Art Director/Copywriter:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good english level (written and spoken)
  • Familiarity with a variety of software programs, such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Flash
  • Evidence of participation in ongoing professional development opportunities in the areas of graphic design or social media
  • Talent in presenting information concisely and accurately, with keen attention to detail
  • Curiosity of culture and local strategic insights infused into creative work
  • Experience in the entertainment industry it’s nice to have.
  • You can produce quality content out of thin air as well as based on briefs or input written by others.
  • You combine creativity with critical thinking; your analytical approach means you ask the right questions and make sense of complex content and marketing strategies.
  • You’re comfortable and capable of presenting work to clients—always able to rationalize your choices and considerations to win people over with your words.
