JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviews terms and conditions of employment with operations and recruitment teams in order to draft provider employment agreements, amendments, and memoranda, and other contracts related to provider services.
Utilizes and updates approved templates to efficiently prepare initial drafts of agreements, amendments, memoranda, and correspondence for providers.
Manages a process related to contract tracking, coordination and administration, as well as oversight and management of contract signatures and routing to signatories; distributes, returns and maintains finalized contracts.
Under the supervision of the Manager, Provider Services and Contracting, serves as an administrator of the Network provider contract database including updating and maintaining contract profiles.
Coordinates with fellow Contracts Administrator, the Manager, Provider Services and Contracting, the Vice President, Provider Services and Contracting, and other internal constituents the review and editing of contracts, as needed.
Alongside a fellow Administrator, and under the supervision of the Manager, Provider Services and Contracting, serves as a backup report approver or submitter of the SLPG Continuing Medical Education Program for providers through SAP Concur.
Coordinates integration of new staff and transition of varying duties.
Implements and/or revises processes to improve department functionality related to provider contracting.
Demonstrates responsibilities in ensuring department goals are met on all levels including accuracy, timeliness and fiscal responsibility
Demonstrates responsibilities in meeting organizational and personal standards.
Demonstrates ability to multitask effectively in performing varied responsibilities required.
Demonstrates professional interaction with all staff on all Network levels.
Represents department at multi-disciplinary, interdepartmental meetings to identify issues and resolutions and/or areas for improvement.

Demonstrates Performance Improvement in the following areas as appropriate: Customer/Service Improvement, Operational system/Process, and Safety.
Maintains confidentiality of all materials handles within the Network/Entity, as well as the proper release of information.
Complies with Network and departmental policies regarding issues of employee, patient and environmental safety and follows appropriate reporting requirements.
Complies with departmental policies regarding attendance and dress code.
Other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to stand, sit and/or walk for varied periods of times during the course of the work day. Occasionally uses upper extremities to lift up to 10 pounds. Ability to stoop, bend and reach above shoulder level. Should possess hearing as it relates to normal conversation and sight as it relates to general vision, near vision, and peripheral vision.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Writing, Liberal Arts, or related field of study preferred.
Associate degree (or higher) in Paralegal Studies or Certificate in Paralegal Studies will also be considered.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
3-5 years of full-time contract management/administration experience, preferably in a law firm, health care, pharmaceutical or life sciences environment. 3-5 years of full-time transactional drafting experience required. Tact, courtesy, initiative, sound judgment and the ability to guide contracting services processes. Effective communication via writing, telephone, and in person. Possesses effective Math and English composition skills. Ability to independently multi-task, delegate as necessary and demonstrate flexibility in switching tasks. Proficient in the use of personal computers and applicable business software applications.
