We have an opening for a Site Supervisor at our Cleveland, OH production facility who embodies a safety-first mentality, takes ownership for getting results and can complete daily operating and maintenance activities. The Cleveland site encompasses three large air separation units, an argon plant, a liquefier, and a Prism Hydrogen Generator. The Oxygen, Nitrogen, and Argon produced are supplied via pipeline to a steel mill and delivered by tanker trucks to customers throughout Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, and Canada. 

The Site Supervisor will play a key role in supporting the Site Manager and is expected to develop a comprehensive understanding of all operational and maintenance aspects at the facility, with particular emphasis on leadership as a first-line supervisor. Initial responsibilities will focus on overseeing operations, maintenance activities, and record-keeping within the air separation plants. 

This is a safety sensitive role.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring safety performance and compliance with Basic Safety Process and process safety management; driving reductions in recordable injuries.
  • Delivering environmental, safety, and quality training for operations and maintenance teams.
  • Supporting daily operational needs, troubleshooting plant processes, directly supervising plant activities, and leading improvement projects. 
  • Collaborating with operators and support personnel to meet productivity objectives. 
  • Identifying maintenance issues and implementing corrective and preventative solutions. 
  • Coordinating with tactical planning and logistics teams to manage product inventory effectively. 

Minimum Hiring Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus at least three years of supervisory experience in a plant environment required.
  • Technical College degree a plus, though not required if relevant experience is demonstrated.
