The Role:

We are looking for our next US Site Procurement Manager within our US Regional Procurement organization. The US Site Procurement Manager will be responsible for acting as the business partner to site operations and serves as a critical interface between site operations and global procurement.

This high-impact role requires cross-functional leadership, strategic acumen, and operational excellence to manage a multi-million-dollar procurement portfolio.

Key responsibilities include aligning local purchasing strategies with global standards and managing procurement across all categories, with a specific focus on MRO, CAPEX and SG&A. The role also champions supplier relationship management and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver sustained value across the organization.

Compensation:

The current salary range for this role is estimated to be $120,000-$162,000. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation. The specific compensation offered to a candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

What You’ll Do:

Regional and Site Procurement Strategy

  • Develop and implement site and regional procurement strategies that align with broader business and operational priorities.
  • Act as the primary liaison between site-level stakeholders and the global procurement organization to ensure strategic alignment and effective communication.
  • Collaborate with key site stakeholders to anticipate demand, understand operational requirements, and drive procurement activities accordingly.
  • Execute global category strategies at the regional level, ensuring local needs and constraints are effectively communicated and integrated.
  • Ensure full compliance with corporate procurement policies while adapting practices to meet local regulatory and operational frameworks.
  • Drive continuous improvement in procurement service delivery through proactive engagement with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date procurement data within the ERP system (SAP).

Category Management

  • Lead procurement activities for assigned categories at the regional level, driving value creation through strategic sourcing and robust procurement strategy.
  • Perform continually spend analysis on assigned categories and sub-categories, assess market intelligence, and develop full market analysis, Identify and approve new vendors to diversify the portfolio.

Supplier Relationship Management

  • Source, evaluate, and onboard local suppliers to meet site requirements for quality, cost, and reliability.
  • Lead contract negotiations and manage supplier performance, including conflict resolution and claims management.
  • Cultivate long-term supplier partnerships to drive strategic value, innovation, and continuity of supply.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track procurement performance using established KPIs and metrics.
  • Ensure transparency through regular reporting to site and global leadership.*

What You’ll Need:

Education:          Bachelor, or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field     

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial procurement, preferably in relevant categories (MRO, CAPEX, SG&A).
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry is preferred, including familiarity with industry-specific regulations.
  • Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and project management.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to collaborate effectively across functions and regions.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP) and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Skilled in drafting and reviewing legal agreements with suppliers.
  • Financial literacy and ability to analyze procurement budgets and total cost of ownership.
  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
