What You Will Achieve

In this role, you will:

  • Define strategic direction and hold accountability for business performance and financial management within an Enterprise or Division

  • Develop resourcing strategy for people, technology, and finance, addressing resource implications across other business segments

  • Foster a culture of inclusion and knowledge sharing, support colleague development, and leverage organizational capabilities

  • Create an environment promoting continuous improvement and innovation, and determine acceptable risk levels

  • Lead in creating solutions for complex problems, influence Enterprise decisions, and prioritize emerging business issues and challenges

  • Lead in creating and implementing Enterprise or Division's strategy and business plans, and participate in the development of Enterprise strategy and business plans

  • Identify talent to build leadership bench strength, define and ensure fulfillment of succession plans, and hold leaders accountable for management skills and diversity

  • Develop and lead senior-level resources to deliver on business priorities

  • Act as strategic advisor on key Enterprise initiatives and influence senior leadership

  • Negotiate with customers or leadership to accomplish broad business objectives and manage Direct reports, ensuring alignment with Pfizer's values and culture

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • BA/BS with at least 12 years of experience or MBA/MS with at least 10 years of experience or PhD/JD with at least 7 years of experience or MD/DVM with at least 5 years of experience

  • Proven track record of interfacing with Commercial and Business Development organizations

  • Strategic business acumen and the ability to interpret and leverage financial analyses for sound decision-making

  • Strong people management skills with demonstrated organizational and leadership capabilities

  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Experience in developing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external customers, regulators, and other stakeholders

  • Ability to lead and collaborate within a team, ensuring mutual accountability for the success of all facilities

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):

  • Master's degree in a relevant field

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry

  • Experience managing unions and works councils

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to influence senior leadership

  • Ability to create and implement strategic business plans

  • Excellent negotiation skills

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $204,700.00 to $341,100.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 22.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
