WORK TASKS

A Sign Shop Creative Specialist I is responsible for creating, designing and printing Point of Sale (POS) pieces consistent with marketing programs across multiple business suppliers. This role is part of the Marketing/Operations team.

Here's more of what you will do... (Okay, not all in one day!)

Performs graphic design production duties involving brand imaging to produce and print POS materials.

  • Prioritizes and manages workload adhering to critical project timelines and deadlines in a fast paced environment.

  • Ensures all print production jobs are completed on a timely basis and at a high quality level.

  • Facilitates National Accounts and POS material execution (OneStop templates).

Performs basic print equipment maintenance on the recommended schedule and as needed during daily operation.

  • Ensures all safety standards are followed and maintained.

  • Stays abreast of current equipment maintenance and operations procedures and processes.

Maintains the print supply inventory to ensure an adequate supply level to production needs.

  • Receives, manages and organizes all print materials and supplies.

  • Keeps work area clean, organized and manages the flow of print materials throughout daily shift.

Coordinates delivery and delivers print production to all hometowns as required.

  • Responds to Sales team questions as required.

Here's what you must have to be considered for this role:

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent Certificate

  • Basic Communication and Interpersonal Skills

  • Proficient MS Office and Technical Skills

Here's what we hope you will have:

  • Previous Print Production Experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to pull/push a load up to 55 lbs.

  • Requires heavy and repetitive lifting/placement of products up to 55 lbs.

  • Bends, stoops, squats, kneels, crouches, crawls, climbs ladders and stairs, stands, walks, and turns/pivots frequently throughout duration of workday. 

  • Must tolerate working in an environment with inside/outside ambient/extreme temperatures.

  • Must be able to work in noisy and crowded environments.

  • Ability to operate facility equipment required for role.

  • Ability to use a personal computer for tasks such as communicating via email, preparing reports and other forms of documentation using company and industry software.

  • Ability to speak, hear, and see is required to communicate with employees, and to operate computers and office machinery.

  • Hand-eye coordination and fine manipulation skills are necessary to operate computers and various facility machinery and equipment.

  • Driving is required during the workday.

  • Ability to perform job functions in compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety policies and best practices.

  • Must be able to maintain a current/valid driver's license.

  • Must maintain regular and punctual attendance.
