SUMMARY 
The Shipping & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the tracking and execution of specimen shipments. This position will pack and ship in accordance to IATA regulations. The Shipping & Logistics Coordinator will work closely with the clinical trials specimen management shipping team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of packages to intended sites.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Shipping of UN3373 Biological Substances Cat B (specimens) to investigator sites, referral laboratories and inter company (ACM) laboratories Pack specimens in accordance to IATA regulations
Creation of shipping documentation for all shipments (Domestic & International)
Setup shipping container (label, dry ice, courier label, etc.)
QC samples to shipping container
Ensuring accurate dispatch of all CTSM Shipments
Inventory management of shipping supplies and work with procurement for ordering
Create and review all relevant shipping documentation for both domestic and international shipments
Ensuring all shipments are adequately monitored with courier
Liaise with Project Management, Clinical Trials Administrators and CTSM for shipment updates
Handle day-to-day queries that may arise both internal/external
Assist other areas of logistics where required
Responsible for ensuring that all the above processes are performed in accordance with IATA protocol
Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
BS degree or 1 year experience in shipping, logistics or supply chain
PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS
Clinical Trials Specimen Management Shipping Experience
BS degree in supply chain or logistics preferred
REQUIRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION 
IATA Certification within 30 days of hire
