We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SharePoint Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with SharePoint Online and SharePoint on-premises environments. The role involves managing and administering SharePoint Online at the tenant level, integrating with Microsoft 365 services, and ensuring data governance and security.

We need someone fluent in both English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities:

SharePoint Online Administration

  • Manage site collections at the tenant level.

  • Design and implement hub site architectures.

  • Utilize SPO Management Shell, PnP PowerShell module, and Microsoft Graph for tenant management.

  • Oversee tenant-level external sharing and prevent oversharing.

  • Administer and configure Microsoft Search and understand Microsoft Graph Search connectors.

  • Integrate SharePoint Online with M365 Purview for data governance and information management.

  • Implement data loss prevention, data retention, and sensitivity labels for SPO/ODFB.

  • Manage Microsoft 365 backup and archive for SharePoint Online.

  • Utilize SharePoint Advanced Management (SAM) Add-on features and controls.

OneDrive for Business Administration:

  • Understand GPO/Intune settings for managing the OneDrive for Business sync client.

  • Migrate from on-premises home drives to OneDrive for Business.

  • Apply best practices for the OneDrive for Business sync client.

Development and Integration:

  • Understand the concepts of using SharePoint Framework (SPfX) and PowerShell with SharePoint

  • Integrate Viva Connections with SharePoint Online and set up SharePoint Homesite integration.

  • Configure Viva Connections experience for users.

  • Administer and manage Viva Engage at the tenant level using the Viva Engage Admin Center.

  • Knowledge of Viva Connections and Viva Engage administration.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ Years of Viva Engage/Yammer administration

  • Proven experience in SharePoint Online and Viva Administration.

  • Strong understanding of data governance and security practices including labeling and retention.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with SharePoint Online services and integrations as well as SharePoint Server on premises.

  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation.
