Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Planning & Execution
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ServiceNow HRSD modules (e.g., HR Case Management, Employee Service Center, Lifecycle Events, and HR Knowledge).
- Perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing for HRSD workflows and use cases.
- Validate HR Service Portal experiences and ensure accessibility, usability, and data integrity.
- Integration Testing
- Test integrations between ServiceNow HRSD and external HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, AD, payroll systems, identity management tools).
- Validate data exchanges via REST/SOAP APIs, file transfers, and event-based integrations.
- Verify inbound and outbound data mapping, transformation, and error handling.
- Custom Applications & Scripting
- Test and validate custom applications and configurations developed within ServiceNow HRSD.
- Use scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, etc.) to validate logic and automate testing where feasible.
- Assist in debugging issues and verifying script functionality across HR workflows.
- Quality Assurance & Collaboration
- Collaborate with developers, HR process owners, and ServiceNow administrators to understand business requirements and convert them into effective test scenarios.
- Document defects, work with teams to reproduce and resolve issues, and verify fixes.
- Conduct regression testing after platform upgrades or patch releases.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide guidance to HR stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience testing ServiceNow HRSD modules and workflows.
- Strong understanding of HR Service Delivery processes and data models.
- Experience testing ServiceNow integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, LDAP, Workday, SAP, etc.).
- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, Client Scripts, etc.).
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Experience using Agile testing tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Must
- ServiceNow certifications such as:
- Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Experience testing Scoped Applications and Flow Designer/IntegrationHub.
- Working knowledge of ITIL or HR best practices.
- Exposure to test automation tools (e.g., ATF, Selenium, Postman for API testing).
Soft Skills:
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
