Job Description:
Job Title: ServiceNow ITSM Tester (Integrations, Custom Apps, Scripting)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ServiceNow ITSM modules.
- Perform end-to-end testing of ServiceNow ITSM workflows including Incident, Problem, Change, Request Management, and Knowledge Management.
- Test and validate integrations between ServiceNow and external systems (e.g., LDAP, email, monitoring tools, CMDB feeds).
- Collaborate with development and implementation teams to test custom applications and ServiceNow configurations.
- Utilize ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions) to support test automation and validation efforts.
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect tracking tools; work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Conduct regression testing and assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Analyze functional and technical specifications to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Provide recommendations to improve test processes and ServiceNow functionalities.
- Support deployment activities by validating functionality in development, test, and production environments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong experience in ServiceNow ITSM modules and lifecycle testing.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP APIs, LDAP, SSO).
- Proficient in ServiceNow scripting using JavaScript and Glide APIs.
- Experience testing custom-built applications on the ServiceNow platform.
- Familiarity with Agile testing methodologies and tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Must :
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
