Hourly Rate: $38.09 – $39.34 (WT 5A.1 to 5.4)

We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Service Manager (2IC) to support the Centre Director in leading our 95-place service, inspiring excellence in education, compliance, and team culture.
This is an excellent opportunity for a current Lead Educator or Educational Leader ready to step into a leadership role with real impact.
About the Role
- Support the Centre Director in managing day-to-day operations of the service
- Assist in mentoring, coaching, and supporting educators to deliver high-quality programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and service regulations
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with families and the community
- Lead by example, fostering a positive, inclusive, and professional workplace culture
- Step into the Centre Director role during absences and lead the team with confidence
What You’ll Need
- Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved)
- Working with Children Check (Employee) – WA requirement
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
- Child Protection / Mandatory Reporting training
- Proven experience in a leadership role within early learning (e.g. Room Leader, 2IC, or Educational Leader)
- Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
