Your Work Matters

As a Service Desk Technician II, you’ll ensure our teams stay connected, productive, and empowered by technology. You’ll troubleshoot complex issues, configure systems, and guide end users while acting as a go-to resource for technical knowledge. Your work ensures that employees—from corporate teams to store associates—can focus on what they do best, knowing IT is seamless, reliable, and responsive. Every ticket you resolve and every system you optimize directly impacts the operational excellence of Floor & Decor.

Your Day Consists Of

  • Supporting end users across corporate and store locations with hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting systems, phones, mobile devices, and servers.
  • Leading end-user training and mentoring colleagues to strengthen team knowledge and confidence.
  • Managing access, accounts, and security through Active Directory, Cisco Call Manager, and Microsoft 365.
  • Monitoring IT assets, performing maintenance, and coordinating with vendors for escalated repairs.
  • Assisting with new store setups, retrofits, and technology integrations across locations.

You’ll Be Successful With

  • 2–5 years of network administration or service desk experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of Cisco Call Manager, Unity, TCP/IP, OSI model, and network connectivity principles.
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills with the ability to anticipate and solve issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in both virtual and in-person environments.
  • A proactive approach to learning, mentoring, and improving IT processes and team performance.

Work Environment / Physical Expectations

  • Primarily a sedentary role with extended periods of sitting, though occasional walking, standing, or light physical activity (lifting up to 20 lbs) may be needed.
  • Work is typically performed in a quiet to moderate office setting, with occasional exposure to active warehouse environments and moving equipment.
  • Occasional travel required including air and car travel
