Job Description

The Service Contracts Product Manager will be responsible for managing the portfolio and partnering with key stakeholders to introduce new products.  Our team is focused on delivering peace of mind coverage with robust manufacture expertise in the Applied and Life Science markets.  You will be part of an experienced team of Product Managers that enable the portfolio direction and integration for our customers.  We have great opportunity for growth in this business and need an enthusiastic and driven individual to help reach those goals.

The Services Product Management team is a global team, and you will have the opportunity to collaborate around the globe.  Your day-to-day interactions will include individuals across businesses functions including other product managers, sales, delivery, and operations. Your work will be focused on the evolution and expansion of our Service Contract portfolio.  This includes developing business cases, introducing new service products and managing existing products to drive profitable growth. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Executing annual Contracts portfolio operating plan to achieve global order growth targets

  • Partnering with Instrument New Product Introduction (NPI) teams to introduce successful Service products

  • Managing day to day escalations with a Customer 1st mindset, determining root cause, and implementing corrective action to prevent future issues.

  • Collaborating with the regional Sales & Delivery team to identify growth opportunities

  • Build business case proposals for regional, product opportunities, and lead them from inception through ramp-to-volume

  • Support the maintenance, correction, and improvement of internal document resources

  • Soliciting feedback from internal and external customers including, division product marketing & Customer Service Organization (CSO) for product positioning and value proposition improvements

  • Provide management updates and status reports of business results

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of product management experience with demonstrated knowledge and projects

  • Experience in the life science industry

  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Sharepoint and Teams

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills

  • Experience in working with worldwide customers and is a strong advocate for customer focus and customer  driven development; demonstrated success with “voice of the customer”

  • Ability to work independently to plan, prioritize workload, schedule time, assess and solve problems

  • Ability to travel up to 10%

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Science related field or equivalent. MBA preferred.

Additional Details

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $135,840.00 - $254,700.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
