Location: Corporate Office - 109 NorthPark Blvd., Covington, LA 70433

Job Summary: This position is responsible for implementation and maintenance of the Windows server environment. Implementation represents project work, which may require travel. Maintenance represents day to day operation of server hardware and responding to production outages.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates with team members concerning project related tasks. This includes accurate, concise, and prompt updates of status to project managers.

  • Researches and studies technologies being implemented as part of projects. Administrators may be required to demonstrate proficiency to team members before moving forward with an implementation.

  • Executes project tasks per previously agreed upon project plans, and adheres to project schedules.

  • Adheres to change management policies and practices.

  • Escalates technical issues once discovered.

  • Completes accuracy in reporting technical issues.

  • Constant and ongoing ownership of issue monitoring and resolution for all servers assigned to that technical group.

  • Ensures that outages are resolved to the point of service restoration to customers.

Qualifications:

  • MCP, working towards an MCSE preferred.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology.

  • A working understanding of server hardware, blade server hardware, basic networking, and SAN storage.

  • Minimum of one year experience supporting a Microsoft server environment.

  • Working knowledge of Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022.

  • Experience with Hyper-V.

  • Working knowledge of Cisco UCS blade server or similar high density compute hardware.

  • Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills, organizational skills, and the ability to learn new technologies.

  • Ability to travel occasionally as needed.
