Northrop Grumman Sentinel program is seeking a Project Manager/Principal Project Manager o join our System Test Team. This position is located in Roy, UT. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You’ll Get To Do:
This team is responsible for System Test of the Air Vehicle and Ground Station Software and Hardware working specifically on the Missile Integration Facility (MIF). Disciplines to include master planning, configuration and data management, digital engineering, business management, risk management, processes and tools, engineering, and ordering of lab test materials in EPS. This position regularly interfaces with senior management within the test team, across the program and occasionally with the customer. The selected candidate will oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. The candidate will also review status of projects and budget, manage schedules, and prepare status reports, assess project issues, and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. The selected candidate will also develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with test managers.
Essential Responsibilities:
Serve as an overall integration function for the test program engaging in many ad hoc activities required to ensure streamlined cadence for test operations and execution.
Collaborate across all functions within the program to develop advanced concepts, techniques and requirements for new applications and tools.
Coordinate schedules and provide Liaison between the interfacing IPTs for lab utilization and access.
Focal Point for lab access requests and authorization coordination with security.
Facilitate internal and external meetings to support the System Test Team and represent Test in appropriate program reviews or boards.
Identify and mitigate project risks throughout project life cycle.
Support and generate proposal documentation as needed to foster new work.
Develop and deliver high level briefings to Test Leadership.
Provide solutions to complex problems that are consistent with the organization’s objectives.
Identify opportunities for change and champion needed changes in the organization.

Proficiency in MS Office.
This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Basic Qualifications:
Project Manger: 2 Years with Bachelors; 0 Years with Masters or 4 additional years’ experience in lieu of degree.
Principal Project Manager: 5 Years with Bachelors; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Year with PhD. or 4 additional years’ experience in lieu of degree.
Must have a DoD Secret level security clearance adjudicated within the last 6 years prior to commencement of employment.
Currently has a Special Access Program (SAP) for GBSD or can obtain SAP within 3 months of employment.
Familiarity with System Test performance and overall expectations.
Familiarity with GBSD Program.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
Demonstrated knowledge of project management fundamentals.
Proficiency with Tools such as: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.
Agile experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Project Management or Business Management from an accredited institution.
