About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Tax Analyst to join our Finance team in Sofia. This role is responsible for owning end-to-end direct tax compliance across our European entities, including corporate income tax (CIT) and transfer pricing (TP). What You’ll Do

  • Own the operational execution of direct tax compliance (CIT/TP), ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely submissions.

  • Lead the clean-up of any backlog of direct tax filings and implement controls to prevent recurrence.

  • Take ownership of TP compliance operations, including preparing benchmark studies, local files, and filings according to local rules.

  • Support Pillar 2 compliance (Global Minimum Tax), including filings, notifications, and monitoring payments.

  • Own the CbCR timeline and risk review, reconciling reported positions against statutory and management accounts.

  • Act as the primary contact for stakeholders on operational tax matters, including finance teams, auditors, and external consultants.

  • Support the development and rollout of tax reporting packages and tax control frameworks.

  • Mentor and guide team members to ensure smooth operational coverage and knowledge sharing.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field.

  • 7–8 years of proven experience in tax compliance in a multinational environment, both in-house and as an external advisor.

  • Strong accounting background, with the ability to challenge and discuss postings and their tax impact independently.

  • Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Data Tables, etc.).

  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and tax data transformation/analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx).

  • ACCA accreditation or equivalent professional certification.

  • Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken.

  • Detail-oriented, analytical, self-driven, proactive, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience drafting tax compliance processes and controls documentation.

  • Prior experience leading or supervising a tax function.

  • Exposure to multinational audits and transfer pricing strategy implementation.
