Role purpose:
This role is to support the category team and Haleon enterprise defining the China strategy as well as implementing strategy initiatives to deliver enterprise objectives.
The candidate will work with cross functional teams to shape and delivery strategic initiatives, setting clear milestones and KPI’s, tracking progress and reporting back to category General Manager or China Management Team. The candidate is able to effectively remove milestones by building fact-based analyses, collecting internal and external datapoints, identifying opportunities and facilitating discussions and workshops between stakeholders and escalating where necessary.
Within this role, you will lead some of the key identified organization transformation initiatives and understand the interdependencies across different functions and support the management of these. Examples of strategic initiatives could be identifying ways to reach new consumer cohorts or assessing how best to play on digital platforms.
Additionally, this role will also be supporting building organizational capability, e.g., defining ways of working for core business processes like yearly planning, digital marketing or innovation.
Finally, this role will support coordination and management of key senior regional and global stakeholders, e.g., global category team.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinating strategic planning process and defining category and enterprise level strategy

Establish a management and tracking system for key enterprise initiatives

Lead key strategic projects

Solve strategic problems and identify key data needs to support hypotheses; effectively collecting internal and external datapoints to execute key strategic analyses

Building supporting communication material for senior leadership

Support organizational capability building
Facilitate decision-making with senior stakeholders through communications and meeting/workshop cadence
Qualifications/Requirements: (Education / Experience / Competencies)
1.
Experience: at least 4 years’ experience in commercial related roles (consulting, project management, commercial support)
2.
Education: Bachelor and above.
3.
Knowledge: requires basic understanding of commercial business principles to drive enterprise initiatives
4.
Project management:strong project management skills to scope and plan strategic problem-solving and transformation initiatives, ability to mobilize key stakeholders to support
5.
Strong interpersonal skills to drive stakeholder management and influencing Analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills to solve strategic problems
6.
Strong communication skills to facilitate senior stakeholder engagement
