Salary:                 £47,167 - £56,678.84 (Depending upon experience)

Hours:                 37.5 per week 

Location:            33 Grosvenor Place, London 

Contract:            Full time, permanent position

Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Senior Staff Nurse to join our Digestive Diseases team with a highly competitive salary range up to £56,678.84 depending upon experience.

This is a full time, permanent position would require the post holder to work up to 37.5 hours per week.

This is a Monday-Sunday, Days/Nights/Weekends role with the following shift patterns:

  • Monday to Sunday Long Days– 0730-2000 

  • Monday to Sunday Nights – 1930-0800 

  • Bank Holidays – 0730-2000 & 1930-0800

You will be joining a multi-disciplinary team with specialisms in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiothoracic surgery with some vascular as well as cardiac/medical conditions, also digestive diseases including liver and robotics and other specialties that require continuous monitoring and treatment. Cleveland Clinic London specialise in the latest diagnostic techniques and treatments for gastrointestinal diseases. Using advanced endoscopy, our specialists assess and treat cysts, polyps or early-stage cancers. We also offer minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery for less pain and a quicker recovery.

What will your duties include:

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with CCL’s established policies, procedures and protocols.

  • Act as a clinical leader and role model whilst providing direct quality patient care, sharing expertise with colleagues.

  • Contribute to team rotas and audits as required.

  • Keep the Charge Nurse informed of all the relevant issues affecting patient care e.g. risk, staffing levels, skills and equipment needs.

  • Participate effectively at the Quality improvements initiatives for the ward ensures that the Ward KPI’s are achieved and are aligned with CCL quality standards.

What we need from you:

  • Nursing Bachelor’s Degree.

  • Ability to prioritise workload in a complex environment and supervise members of the team, ensuring high quality, safe and effective patient care.

  • Supports the Charge Nurse/Nurse Manager in contributing to CCLs nursing operational and strategic goals.

  • ILS provider course completed and qualification in required upon hire, or within 3 months of hire.

  • Current nursing registration (First Level) through the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) required, with no restrictions to practice.
