Roles & Responsibilities

The Senior Specialist of Sales Operations will play a key role in advancing operational efficiency, scalability, and performance of the Sales organization. This position supports the Director of Sales Innovation & Business Operations in executing process improvement initiatives, driving cross-functional projects, and enabling data-driven decision-making.

In addition to these core responsibilities, the specialist will provide targeted support to the SVP of Sales to ensure

effective leadership operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong coordination skills and foundational business acumen who is eager to grow within Sales.

Position Objective

  • Assist in mapping, analyzing, and improving sales processes to increase efficiency
  • Support the tracking of KPIs, revenue performance, and operational metrics; prepare regular reports and dashboards for leadership
  • Help coordinate quarterly business and promotional planning processes across teams and product lines
  • Participate in cross-functional projects, ensuring deliverables are met and dependencies are managed
  • Maintain process documentation, ensuring updates align with evolving business strategies and best practices
  • Conduct studies to identify trends and benchmarks that inform operational improvements
  • Support the Director in planning and implementing sales process improvements
  • Help facilitate project meetings, capture action items, and track progress to ensure timely execution
  • Assist in developing and distributing materials for new processes
  • Provide coordination support to the SVP of Sales to ensure alignment with strategic priorities (may include additional administrative responsibilities as needed to support leadership operations)
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, including agenda preparation and follow-up
  • Prepare presentation materials and briefing documents as needed for leadership meetings

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) with 4+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience in sales or business operations
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with data and translate insights into recommendations
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies a plus
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
