23andMe’s Core Engineering team is looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to join our Pub team. This is the team responsible for building and optimizing our public-facing website (pubsite) and core user-facing flows, which are the primary drivers of our consumer business.
You will be responsible for building both the ‘client-side’ and ‘server-side’ of our web applications, translating company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive experiences that drive growth. You'll work across our full stack, from our core Python/Django platform to our modern Next.js (React)-based pubsite and headless CMS.
You'll lead by example, guide the design of compelling new features, and contribute innovative solutions to challenging engineering problems to make those features real and performant. Join our growing team and enjoy a collaborative environment with small project teams working on a variety of tasks.
