The Software Manager is responsible for managing the Capture Financial Data (CFD) Replication application, ensuring stability, compliance, and continuous improvement. This role involves overseeing the replication of Financial (FI) and Controlling (CO) documents, as well as CO objects from the supply chain systems (formerly ECC) to the Central Finance (HG*) systems.
The Software Manager also plays a key role in defining the strategy for CFD replication, collaborating with operations and business teams, and ensuring that the application evolves in alignment with business needs and organizational culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and align the strategy for the Capture Financial Data Replication application, ensuring high performance, compliance, and long-term sustainability in line with organizational goals.
Manage projects related to the application lifecycle, ensuring adherence to IT and business best practices throughout the CFD replication process.
Take the initiative in shaping and influencing the organizational culture surrounding financial data replication, demonstrating leadership and accountability.
Ensure delivery of outputs with excellence, showcasing deep knowledge of IT applications within financial replication processes.
Collaborate with operations teams to ensure reliability, effective issue resolution, and continuous improvement of the CFD replication application.
Apply Change Management practices to minimize risk and ensure smooth transitions during updates, releases, or enhancements to the application.
Define and lead initiatives to improve application practices, governance, and technical documentation related to CFD replication.
Participate in the development of team members within the function, ensuring knowledge transfer and sustainable capability growth

Job Qualifications
Technical Knowledge:
Knowledge of SAP ABAP for monitoring and enhancements (writing programs)
Familiar with SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT) & Data in Hub ( DIH)
Proficiency in CDS Views for data modeling and reporting.
Familiarity with Change Management and ITIL practices.
Understanding of application lifecycle management principles.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience in managing business-critical applications with a strong record of stability, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Skills:
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficiency in English speaking and writing
Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, operations, and business stakeholders
