What you will do

In this vital role you will act as the primary customer contact for demand creation by driving marketing strategy and promoting Amgen products as lead by the District Manager. This strategic role will provide current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of Amgen's products and effectively communicate its clinical and economic benefits.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Drive sales growth within your assigned territory by executing strategic Plan of Action (POA) marketing initiatives. This includes delivering compelling brand messaging, implementing targeted sales programs, leading medical educational initiatives, and consistently achieving or exceeding sales goals.
Develop and strengthen customer relationships by effectively managing accounts, ensuring seamless product access, proactively addressing reimbursement challenges, and maintaining product contracts to support long-term success.
Contribute to business strategy by providing actionable insights on marketing effectiveness, conducting sales performance evaluations, and analyzing territory trends. Partner with the District Manager to develop and refine territory plans for maximum impact.
What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of sales experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry or hospital sales experience
Or
Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry or hospital sales experience
Or
High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry or hospital sales experience
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of specialty sales experience in Respiratory products
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completed
Expert local market knowledge in the primary care or specialty market
Experience working with Specialty Pharmacies and Biologics
Pneumologist, Allergist and Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) experience
A valid driver's license to operate an automobile
Computer proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish
Flexibility to work extended hours including weekends
