WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for a Product Manager for Engagement to lead one of the most critical parts of the Manychat user journey — helping users unlock the full value of our product once they’ve activated and built their first automations.

Manychat is evolving into an Instagram-first social CRM, and this role will be key to defining how users deepen their engagement across our three core product pillars: Automations, Inbox, and AI.

You’ll be responsible for shaping how users explore, adopt, and continuously benefit from Manychat — ensuring that each interaction feels relevant, personalized, and impactful. This means creating scalable experiences that adapt to different customer segments and growth stages, driving retention and long-term product love.

This is a highly cross-functional role that combines product thinking, experimentation, and customer insight to craft a personalized engagement loop that delights users and drives business outcomes.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Own the post-activation user journey, defining the strategy for engagement, feature discovery, and retention.
  • Design personalized experiences that adapt to user segments, use cases, and maturity levels.
  • Build the bridge between Automations, Inbox, and AI — ensuring users seamlessly navigate and gain value across these key product areas.
  • Run experiments and growth loops that deepen engagement, increase multi-feature adoption, and reduce churn.
  • Leverage data & behavioral insights to identify opportunities for improving engagement and reactivation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Lifecycle, Inbox, Automations, and AI teams to deliver a cohesive and personalized experience.
  • Own and measure key metrics such as feature adoption, retention, DAU/MAU, and engagement depth.
  • Translate insights into scalable frameworks for ongoing user engagement and lifecycle personalization.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in SaaS or PLG environments.
  • Proven success driving user engagement, retention, or lifecycle growth.
  • Strong background in data-informed decision-making and experimentation (A/B tests, funnel analysis, retention cohorts).
  • Deep empathy for users and a passion for understanding their motivations and behavior.
  • Experience designing personalized user journeys and cross-feature experiences.
  • Ability to execute fast, prioritize effectively, and lead cross-functional teams toward measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills — you can align teams around a clear vision of the user journey.

BONUS POINTS:

  • Experience in CRM, marketing automation, or communication tools.
  • Background in AI/ML-driven personalization or lifecycle automation.
  • Familiarity with social or creator ecosystems (Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp).
  • Strong grasp of growth frameworks (e.g., engagement loops, habit formation, lifecycle triggers).
