About the Team

Security is of the utmost importance for customers migrating to the cloud. The Security Product Management team at Workday defines the strategy for security features and functionality to scale and strengthen our security platform to support all Workday customers with a rich feature set and controls for leading digital identity and verifying user and system access. We’re growing at a fast pace and are looking for folks with a strategic vision and a consistent record for successfully delivering sought-after products to market!

About the Role

In a world of evolving digital identity, establishing and securing the identity of the hybrid workforce of both human users and AI agents is paramount for our customers. We are defining and building the foundational controls to ensure that everyone—human or machine—can securely prove their identity before accessing any of our services, with clear, transparent audit trails. In this role, you'll be on the front lines, responsible for the design and execution of products that help our customers apply Zero Trust principles through the delivery of more resilient and adaptable multi-factor and passwordless authentication solutions and sophisticated identity governance tools.

  • Lead the collaborative effort across product and engineering to shape and refine AI Agent authentication strategies, maintaining a proactive stance on evolving A2A (Agent-to-Agent) and Machine-Controlled Process standards (MCP).

  • Represent the customer and be data-driven when evaluating development decisions with engineering teams through design, testing and product/feature release

  • Identifying platform solutions or improvements to help tackle customer problems or feedback. Own feature design documents to ensure multiple teams apply the solutions.

  • Capture, prioritize, and define requirements (while actively grooming backlog) into executable epics and user stories for engineering

  • Build and maintain a prioritized backlog of epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria, based on key collaborator requirements, and persona and use case development

  • Independently drive the product vision and execution for a dedicated Scrum team, ensuring successful delivery by actively owning and guiding all Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and product prioritization.

Our Approach to Flexible Work

With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.

Pursuant to applicable Fair Chance law, Workday will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

Workday is an Equal Opportunity Employer including individuals with disabilities and protected veterans.
