Applecart

Senior Product Manager

New York, New York Full Time

About Us

Applecart is the leading technology company creating a new category of “Decision Maker Marketing”. The most important decisions are made by the hardest people to reach and influence. Historically, C-suite leaders have lacked the tools to reach the stakeholders that matter most to their business. The C-suites of hundreds of Fortune 500 companies, major agencies, trade associations, nonprofits, and governments use Applecart to put their best content in front of business-critical decision makers and those they trust —  from policymakers and investors to CEOs, key employees, members of the media and more. Decision makers are informed by what they read, learn from advisors, hear from colleagues, and discuss with family and friends. To break through to them, you must reach them through the only channel that really moves them: those they know and trust. Applecart’s platform uses publicly available or fully permissioned data to map billions of social relationships between nearly every American adult and enable clients to deliver content directly to decision makers and those that matter most to them.

We are hiring a Senior Product Manager in our NYC office

About the Role:

Decision Maker research is the foundation of Applecart’s offering. Our proprietary methods to map relationships between Decision Makers and their network are fundamental to delivering precise targeting solutions for Fortune 50 companies, major PE firms and leading trade associations.

We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to launch the next generation of Decision Maker research products at Applecart. The ideal candidate is a B2B SaaS expert who has handled product launches from start to finish, and uses exceptional product intuition to deliver beautifully simple user experiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Optimize Applecart’s research workflows, and build the next generation research products
  • Own the roadmap, business planning, and requirements definition for Applecart’s Decision Maker research products
  • Collaborate with the Head of Research Operations to define the business processes that work in harmony alongside Platform improvements to achieve critical business goals
  • Collaborate with Product Design to shadow the Research process and uncover insights that lead to product features that delight users
  • Evangelize product solutions with internal teams, Product Marketing, and the C-Suite
  • Manage product launches and define and track KPI’s to measure success and identify ongoing improvements
  • Communicate releases regularly to different stakeholders across all levels in the company

Who You Are:

  • Design-Led Thinking: You are relentlessly dedicated to the user experience. You don't just consume design principles; you are fluent in them and use them as the primary lens through which you build product strategy.
  • Applied AI Intuition: You see LLMs and other emerging technologies not as features to be "slapped on," but as fundamental tools that can be seamlessly embedded into existing workflows to deliver specific, context-aware value.
  • Hybrid User Research Expertise: You are adept at gathering qualitative insights (interviews, usability testing) but truly excel at combining them with quantitative RUM (Real User Monitoring) analytics to pinpoint the root causes of user friction and validate solutions.
  • Incisive Decision Maker: You are an exceptional communicator capable of synthesizing input from engineering constraints, leadership priorities, and customer needs to define clear, hard trade-offs that drive the product forward without ambiguity.
  • Complex Domain Fluency: You thrive in ambiguity and enjoy tackling complex B2B domains. You have a proven ability to quickly immerse yourself in a new industry or workflow, rapidly learning the language and pain points to design solutions that genuinely save users time.

Experiences and Capabilities You Bring:

  • Superpower in UI/UX and Design: Deep, demonstrable experience in defining, critiquing, and leading the implementation of simple user interfaces for complex workflows.
  • Data Fluency: Expert-level proficiency with product analytics to measure feature adoption, track funnel performance, and diagnose usability issues.
  • Product Experience: Proven success in driving product management decisions, with a significant track record in releasing B2B SaaS products/features with quantifiable value
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to communicate roadmap vision, technical complexity, and research findings clearly and persuasively to C-level executives, technical architects, and cross-functional teams.
  • Roadmap Leadership: Experience owning, defining, and defending a full product roadmap, managing dependencies, and working within agile development frameworks.
  • Technical Partnership: Comfort engaging with engineering leads on architecture, technical debt, and resource planning to ensure design goals are technically feasible and scalable
