Advanced communication and facilitation skills needed
Join the procurement team responsible for process optimization, implementation and adoption of new technologies, and training staff to ensure seamless transitions. You’ll work on complex projects requiring a high level of support with process development, change, redesign and product management – often involving multi-functional teams. Using your expertise and knowledge of best practices, you’ll effectively deliver strategic outcomes. Plus, you’ll manage the employee travel and expense program.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the advancement of process improvement and sustainable methodologies within Procurement Services
- Document practices and discipline expectations in accordance with process optimization methodology.
- Develop appropriate metrics to evaluate more complex situations where multiple outcomes require integrated assessments
- Build understanding of current and future states
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure plans reflect customer and employee principles
- Coach and advise the Procurement team and other internal partners on successful outcomes

What you’ll need:
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, organizational development or information technology and at least five years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Certification in your area of expertise or Lean Six Sigma certification
- In-depth, practical understanding of process optimization, change management or project management
- Experience managing travel and expense programs is a significant asset
- Knowledge of professional and public procurement practices and completion of an industry-recognized procurement or supply chain management certification are assets
