Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Network Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA.

This position will work closely with construction and O&M teams to design, implement, manage and maintain all aspects of IT systems and networks supporting facility equipment and controls at various locations to deliver high-reliability, cybersecurity, and to continuous improvement. Directly focused on support of facility network infrastructure for resilient power distribution, cooling systems, facility management/industrial control systems, etc.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead the identification, analysis and documentation of requirements for network transport technologies and services.
  • Lead and organize the creation and documentation of network designs. Prepare, deploy and coordinate installation of complex implementation packages.
  • Research, develop, document and deploy emerging technologies and techniques.
  • Lead and coordinate high level implementation planning for strategic multi-technology insertion projects.
  • Lead the maintenance of network systems. Write reports and compile data regarding existing and potential projects and studies.
  • Maintain, implement, or improve electrical and mechanical equipment, facilities, components, or systems for data center operations
  • Ensure compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by coordinating installation, construction, maintenance, documentation, support/testing activities
  • Engaged in final commissioning of facility to ensure required capabilities to meet customer requirements

Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years’ experience as network engineer in operation and/or maintenance
  • Proven IT and network development, management and installation experience
  • Ability to obtain Counterintelligence (CI) or Full Scope (FS) polygraph pre-start

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, Engineering, or other applicable STEM field
  • Experience working with U.S. Government customer
  • Adjudicated Counterintelligence (CI) or Full Scope (FS) polygraph

Summary pay range: $122,000 - $172,000
