THE OPPORTUNITY
The Senior Marketing Manager, Product & Category will lead product and category marketing strategies, planning, and execution for Deseret Book. This marketing leader will be focused on developing marketing plans for key driver product and categories to drive traffic and traffic conversion in Deseret Book sales channels.
This individual will manage the creation of strategic marketing plans that define and deliver the value proposition of key products with the intent to grow the Deseret Book customer base through traditional and digital marketing efforts. They will work closely with our digital marketing team, creative team, and product team to ensure they have the information, and resources needed to showcase the value offering of the product and content and communicate it to Deseret Book customers and associates.
Successful candidates will have an understanding of the needs and culture of members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and have the ability to create and execute creative and strategic plans, collaborate well with others, and give and receive focused feedback. They will leverage insights on our communities to drive strategies and plans that pulls consumers into the product and content we are offering.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
80% Product Marketing Strategy Development & Implementation: Develop, define, and lead the product and category marketing for Deseret Book. This includes:
20% Team Management: Manage product marketing efforts with a focus on overseeing marketing strategies and implementation. Infuse innovative marketing practices to accelerate customer experience and engagement, while increasing customer base and sales.
