Humana is seeking a Senior Market Development Professional to support our Family Care, Family Care Partnership, SSI Medicaid and Badger Care product lines associated with the Wisconsin Market, including maintaining compliance with Medicare requirements that are supported within the market. In this role, you’ll provide operational and communications/marketing support and help execute strategic initiatives to drive market growth. You’ll take on assignments that require thoughtful analysis and evaluation, making your work both challenging and rewarding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Market Development and functional leaders to gather, synthesize, and prioritize insights for retention and recruitment strategies
  • Develop comprehensive and actionable strategies to support market growth across product lines while meeting compliance and regulatory guidelines
  • Monitor, report, and ensure initiatives are carried through from concept to completion
  • Support the market in meeting or exceeding corporate growth benchmarks
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and community organizations.
  • Assist with operational logistics and communications, including preparing written materials and coordinating Wisconsin-wide market meetings (such as Town Halls and People Leader meetings)
  • Make decisions on project components with considerable autonomy
  • Ability to adapt to changing market dynamics and organizational priorities, quickly shifting to meet new market needs
  • Exercise independent judgment in determining objectives and approaches to assignments

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 or more years of experience in a fast-paced insurance, managed care or health care setting
  • Reside within the State of Wisconsin
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to thoroughly review and interpret data to inform decision-making
  • Experience in market development within healthcare or managed care organizations.
  • Proven track record of working in cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Understanding of compliance requirements and regulatory guidelines relevant to HMO and MCO market development and DHS and CMS.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing market dynamics and organizational priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in Badger Care, SSI, HMO plans and/or Medicare
  • Two or more years of market development experience with a focus on market growth
  • Six Sigma certification or lean experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Access, Visio and Project

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$78,400 - $107,800 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
