Senior Managing Director, UK & Nordics

We are currently looking for a Senior Managing Director to lead the UK & Nordics region and join the SimCorp Global Management Committee (GMC). Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), the primary focus for the Senior Managing Director, UK & Nordics will be to act as the local senior executive for all client business in region.  

Working with a talented Senior Management Team (SMT), this role will involve growing and developing their sales leadership and execution; inspiring your team and peers to deliver the very best for our clients and continue to cultivate a diverse, inclusive, and engaged working environment for all employees in the region(s).

Why this role is important to us

As the Senior Managing Director, you will have overall accountability for our client business and be responsible for leading a team of talented Sales and Customer Service oriented employees with responsibility for the whole PnL. With the UK being SimCorp’s largest growth opportunity in Europe, and the Nordics being SimCorp’s most established market, the role plays a crucial role in unlocking the potential of SimCorp One for our clients to ensure we consistently grow and deliver valuable solutions.
 

As  a member of both the Commercial Leadership Team (CLT) and Global Management Committee (GMC) you will be expected to bring insights from the region and contribute to the day to day running of the company at a global level, as well as being closely involved in shaping the strategy of the firm.

What we value (Your qualifications)
In terms of experience and knowledge we expect that you have:

  • Demonstrable experience of role modelling leadership qualities that reflect our ‘Lead with Impact’ ethos
  • Expertise in managing complex customer situations and projects at a senior management level
  • Adept at working in and leading in matrix structures
  • Exposure to international and multi-cultural working environments
  • Strong track record of delivering sustainable growth through innovative models and showing accountability towards agreed goals
  • Experienced across different roles, with a track record in field sales
  • Preferably a proven track record in the financial services sector
  • Demonstrated sales/business development experience at a strategic level
  • Proven success in growing sales, new customer acquisition and establishing strong long-term client relationship to achieve end to end deals
  • Well networked in the Financial Services market and an evidenced ability to generate leads and identify potential opportunities
  • Industry knowledge with in-depth knowledge of and experience with the IT services industry
  • Solid understanding of the market dynamics and competitors in financial services
