[What the role is]
Oversee implementation and growth of social services and initiatives that meet the needs of service users effectively and efficiently.[What you will be working on]
Be part of a team that seeks to achieve better outcomes for persons who use social services so that service users are empowered to live with dignity. Key responsibilities are to lead work on operational policy and processes for the funding of programmes. Main duties include the following:
1. Manage operational policy for the funding of social service programmes.
a. Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that community funding is used effectively and efficiently.
b. Explore innovative ways to leverage funding to shape programmes and better meet service user outcomes.
c. Ensure proper governance of funding and accountability to funders.
2. Manage operational policy and enhance processes for the management of programmes funded through NCSS.
a. Ensure policies and processes meet relevant governance requirements.
b. Develop and implement standard operating procedures to enable NCSS teams to manage the funding and renewal lifecycle for programmes.
c. Streamline processes through process redesign and implementation of automation and technology, to save time/manpower and enhance the experience of funded partners.
3. Coordinate key workstreams that cut across different programmes and sub-sectors, including the following:
a. Monitor funded programmes in the implementation of service standards.
b. Support fundraising efforts with timely information and reporting.
4. Support the Services Group and NCSS as and when required.

Relevant experience with social services, grant management and/or public sector funding practices will be an added advantage.
